Will PRO ever become a subscription?
No. WebSSH PRO is and will remain a one-time lifetime purchase : every feature that runs on your device is included, forever, with FREE regular updates.
In the future, WebSSH may offer optional cloud-powered services (features that rely on servers running 24/7). Because these have recurring infrastructure costs, they would be offered as a separate, optional subscription — but nothing you already own moves behind it. Your PRO purchase keeps its full value, always.
It's too expensive!
Since 2012, WebSSH has been sustained and maintained as an indie app supported by a one-time purchase, with regular monthly updates provided for FREE. No hidden costs.
If you think the price is too high, please consider the effort I put into making WebSSH an awesome sysadmin tool for you. The price supports ongoing development and maintenance of the app.
